Relax Gaming launches cosmic release, Multiplier Odyssey
Reading Time: < 1 minute

Relax Gaming, the igaming aggregator and supplier of unique content, invites players to step onto an intergalactic battlefield for wins as large as 50,000x their bet in its new slot, Multiplier Odyssey.

Great win potential can be felt from the moment the base game is activated. Coins land across the game screen, displaying multiplier values that are added up and applied to a win each time a Coin Collector symbol appears. A x3 variant of the Coin Collector triples the amount won from all the collected coin icons, causing engagement to soar and serving up some fantastic wins.

Three bonus symbols blast the players off into Free Spins, where seven spins are awarded, represented as lives in this cosmic battle. Each winning spin applies a multiplier from the display above the reel area, while every losing spin reduces a life. Once all 10 multipliers are applied, the Super Multiplier is unlocked, where the reels keep spinning until a win is scored. Additionally, a buy feature allows for those eager players to transport themselves straight to the action in the bonus round for intergalactic wins and free spins.

Simon Hammon, Relax Gaming CPO, said: “Multiplier Odyssey takes players on an action-packed journey in pursuit of celestial wins.

“With immersive space-combat-themed design, explosive features and an achievable maximum win of 50,000x, we believe this game will be a hit amongst players and help to differentiate our clients’ lobbies.”

Relax now offers its partners more than 1,500 online casino games, featuring headline slots from its in-house studios along with a vast collection of content aggregated through its Silver Bullet and Powered By Relax partnership programmes.

The Netherlands has always been an important market for the Merkur brand, in terms of both the arcade and casino sectors. Holland’s current climate of positive regulation being provided by the Netherlands Gambling Authority (KSA) chaired by René Jansen has led Merkur to become a strategic partner of Gaming in Holland (GiH) and to join the GiH Conference & Expo that was held from June 20 to 21 at the Jaarbeurs expo centre in the city of Utrecht.

Since 2011, the annual Gaming in Holland Conference has been the event to find out what’s happening in the Dutch gaming market and to meet up with all the major decision makers, focusing on the entire Dutch gambling industry. The opening of the regulated online market in October 2021 not only created a completely new market segment but also materially impacted existing markets, channels and verticals.

Recognising the importance of this event Merkur made a strong commitment and created a major presence at the Expo, being represented by Merkur Gaming and Group subsidiary companies, GeWeTe and edict eGaming solutions.

“We had good discussions with many customers, especially about our new ZONIC slot machine for the Dutch arcades. This unique cabinet with its very good ergonomics and the new game package with the new FIVE game feature was very well received by our customers. In addition, discussions were also held with our many pub customers. They are already looking forward to our own next, specifically for the pub sector, exhibition that will be held on 4 July in the Van der Valk Hotel Sassenheim in the Netherlands,” Dirk Sondermann, Managing Director of Merkur Gaming, said.

“This was a great opportunity for GeWeTe. We would like to thank the organizers for a great event, for the informative conference presentations and for the possibility for us to meet with important personalities from the gaming industry in Holland,” Aristidis Tsikouras, CEO of GeWeTe, said.

“The Dutch gaming market has always been an important part of GeWeTe, and not just because our company is geographically close to the Netherlands. Our extensive range of products and our solutions meet all needs, for arcades, gastronomy and also for casinos,” Aristidis Tsikouras added.

Mega Player further establishes Stakelogic as leading Dutch market provider
Reading Time: 2 minutes

Developer’s latest classic slot has been built especially for players in the Netherlands and promises a thrilling experience and mega win potential with each spin

Players in the Netherlands are being given a chance to feel mega as the big wins roll in in the latest game to be launched by slot developer powerhouse, Stakelogic.

Mega Player has been designed specifically for the recently regulated Dutch market and adds to the provider’s growing portfolio of classic slots and modern video slots that have been localised for the fast-growing jurisdiction.

Mega Player is a classic fruit machine slot with three rows and six reels which are filled with retro symbols such as grapes, lemons, oranges, melons and those all-important sevens. Players can spin with 20 win lines active which combined with the six reels offers up some potentially mega wins.

The action is taken to the next level through a selection of bonus features including a Mystery Jackpot.

The Mystery Jackpot is seeded with a 0.5% contribution from every bet placed with a minimum jackpot payout of €500. The pot is guaranteed to payout when it hits its maximum value of €5,000 and high stakes increase the chance of the player winning.

The chance of the jackpot triggering increases once the pot hits €2,500 and this happens in four marked stages until the max value is achieved and when it is then guaranteed to drop on the next play.

That’s not all – Mega Player also comes hooked up to Stakelogic’s innovative Super Stake feature which allows players to double their bet to increase the chance of triggering a bonus feature and hitting some truly insane win combinations.

In Mega Player, this sees Multiplier Wilds ranging from x2 to x5 landing on reels two, three, four and five.

Players are given the option to Gamble their winnings with the chance double the value of their prize. The player must guess if the coin flip will land on heads or tails. Guess right and they double their win, guess wrong and they forfeit their prize.

Olga Bajela, CCO at Stakelogic, said: “We have quickly emerged as the leading casino content provider in the Netherlands driven in part by our incredible portfolio of classic slots, which have proved to be a big hit with players.

Mega Player makes for a great addition to our offering to operators in the Dutch market. It combines the simplicity of a classic slot with the thrilling features of a modern video slot to take player engagement and entertainment to the next level.

We look forward to seeing players land some big wins in the base game and then activate Super Stake to be in with the chance of hitting truly mega wins. And with the Mystery Jackpot set to trigger at any moment, players will be on the edge of their seat with every spin.”

Esports Insider has announced Overwolf, the all-in-one platform that enables creators to build, distribute and monetise in-game apps and mods, as the official Technology Partner of The Clutch, the esports-focused pitch investment competition, which will mark its grand return to a physical format at ESI’s flagship Major event ESI London on September 5-7th 2022.

Overwolf is contributing a prize pool of $25,000 to The Clutch’s London edition this year, with the following split: 1st place – $15,000, 2nd place – $7,000 and 3rd place – $3,000. The eligible winning start-up will also be granted the opportunity to travel to Tel Aviv, where Overwolf is headquartered, for a week of in-person mentoring and product acceleration.

“Overwolf has a long history of partnering with leading esports in-game apps from Professor, which helps League of Legends players understand their match statistics, to Tracker Network, which provides a suite of stats apps for many top games including Valorant, Apex and Fortnite. Through this partnership with Esports Insider, we are excited to find the best upcoming esports in-game apps that help gamers enhance their gameplay experience. The Clutch gives us early access to this rising talent and we can’t wait to hear the pitches,” Uri Marchand, CEO of Overwolf, said.

Taking place on September 7, The Clutch will welcome a panel of esteemed investors to judge three to four esports related start-ups. The judges involved in the panel will include Shahar Sorek, Chief Marketing Officer at Overwolf and Lisa Hau, COO at Bidstack; with more judges to be announced soon.

Launched in 2019 at ESI London, The Clutch began life as an in-person pitch investment competition focused exclusively on esports-related early stage start-ups. Since that edition, it has taken place digitally on multiple occasions during the ESI Digital series of events. To date, there have been four winners: G-Science, TEAMS.gg, Anzu and iTero Gaming.

Jack J Williams, Founder and Data Scientist at iTero Gaming, said: “Winning The Clutch 2021 was a jump-start for iTero Gaming. The prize, the exposure and joining the ranks of previous winners who have all impressed me would have been enough on its own.

“The highlight though, was that it became the catalyst for us to work with the team at Overwolf. They really understand our vision and are providing all the support and expertise we could ask for to deliver on it. I’m looking forward to seeing how we can continue to grow this ecosystem together long into the future.”
