Leading online bookmaker using its partnership with West Ham United to promote responsible gambling

Betway is putting its full support behind Responsible Gambling Week (1st-7th November) by helping to promote the cross-industry initiative during West Ham United’s next two home matches at the London Stadium.

Betway, the official principal partner of West Ham, is donating a range of its match day advertising assets at this evening’s Carabao Cup fourth round tie against Tottenham Hotspur and Premier League game with Burnley on 3rd November to Responsible Gambling Week.

These include LED screens, stadium big screen, programme, digital ads on whufc.com and West Ham’s social channels. The firm has also created bespoke responsible gambling t-shirts for the West Ham players to wear during the warm-ups.

In addition to its partnership with West Ham, Betway will also be using its All-Weather Championships horseracing sponsorship to promote the week-long initiative. Race titles at Lingfield, Southwell, Wolverhampton and Newcastle will include a Responsible Gambling Week message over the course of the seven days.

Responsible Gambling Week is a cross-industry initiative to promote responsible gambling. It is designed to get people talking about what it means to gamble responsibly, focusing on the tools that are available to keep gambling fun and how players across all types of gambling can gamble safely.

Karim Virani, Commercial and Digital Director at West Ham, said:

“The club fully understands the importance of responsible gambling, and are delighted to be taking part in Responsible Gambling Week. We look forward to working closely with Betway in a number of different ways to help spread this message, both during and beyond this event.”

Betway CEO Anthony Werkman said: “We are proud to be involved in Responsible Gambling Week and are very happy to use our partnerships with West Ham and the All Weather Championships to help promote this vital cross-industry initiative.

“Responsible gambling is at the heart of everything we do at Betway. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with a fun and informed betting experience, supported by a safe and secure environment.”

Win Systems, a global technology supplier to the gaming industry, has got good remarks for its GameStar Arcadia gaming machine from some of the most prestigious Spanish gaming venues.

The managers of the gaming venues confirmed that GameStar Arcadia received a great response among the players, thanks to its effective selection of games combined with the attractive Pyramid jackpot. Several of the operators have expressed their satisfaction after the first few days of operation of the machines.

After the successful presentation of GameStar Arcadia at the Feria International del Juego de Madrid in April, many contracts were signed to install GameStar Arcadia units in the most important venues in Spain.

“Spain is a key market in our strategic expansion plan, which is why it was very important to get the best operators support and confidence with the installation of the GameStar Arcadia. We are sure that this slot machine is fully adapted to the needs of the operators in the country especially to the preferences of the players. The first results reaffirmed that we are on the right path and it has given us full confidence for our future installations,” Ignacio García del Frade, Head of Business Development at Win Systems said.
