Pennsylvania increases table games revenue

Pennsylvania increased its table games revenue. Gross revenue at table games in Pennsylvanian casinos was up 2.8 percent during November.
According to figures released yesterday by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB), gross revenue from gambling at table games in Pennsylvania casinos during November 2017 was up 2.8 percent compared to November of last year.
The report published on the regulator’s website shows that last month’s gross table games revenue was US$72.2 million, up from the US$70.2 million registered in revenue by the state’s 12 casinos during November 2016. Total tax revenue from table games play during November was US$11.6 million with an average of 1257 tables in operation statewide on a daily basis.
Moreover, the increase in table games revenue coupled with the earlier reported 1 percent increase in slots revenue for November resulted in an overall gaming revenue increase for the month of approximately 1.6 percent.
Earlier this month, the PGCB revealed that slot machines at the 12 local casinos amounted US$181.3 million in revenue during November operations, which is a US$2 million increase when compared to the same period last year.
