BOS in Sweden’s largest morning paper Dagens Nyheter: “The state has gambled away the control over online casino”

The Swedish Trade Association for Online Gambling (BOS) published an op-ed in the paper edition of Dagens Nyheter, Sweden’s largest morning newspaper. The online version was published Friday evening.
In the op-ed BOS secretary general Gustaf Hoffstedt promotes the view that the Swedish gambling reregulation is a failure with reference to the low level of channelization, and that repressive measures alone against unlicensed gambling are insufficient to save the Swedish gambling licensing system. To succeed in the rescue operation, further regulatory promotional measures are also required for the licensed gambling companies.
DN Debatt is Sweden’s most prestigious debate site, published in Sweden’s largest morning newspaper Dagens Nyheter. Only one op-ed per day is published. A publication on DN Debatt means that the social issue discussed that day in the op-ed receives a lot of attention.
