Top Betting Favorites for 2025-26 UEFA Competitions Revealed
Kaizen Gaming and Betano data from 19 countries show the teams fans are backing to lift Europe’s biggest trophies in 2025-26
New data from Kaizen Gaming and its Betano online betting and gaming platform from 19 countries reveals which clubs fans are backing to lift Europe’s biggest trophies in the 2025-26 season with the Champions League kicking off on September 16th, the Europa League entering its next phase later this month, and the Conference League due to begin in October.
Betting activity across 19 countries shows FC Barcelona as the top choice for Champions League success with 40% of all wagers, while AS Roma secures the top spot in the Europa League, with 22% of fans predicting a trophy win. Data also reveals Crystal Palace FC as fan favorites to win the Conference League.
Champions League predictions:
- FC Barcelona dominate while PSG drop: Despite a relatively quiet transfer window compared to its English competitors, FC Barcelona leave the rest of the pack far behind with 40% of bettors believing the club will go all the way. This is far ahead of next favourites and bitter rivals Real Madrid CF (14%) and Premier League Champions Liverpool FC (13%). Surprisingly last year’s winners Paris Saint Germain FC drop to fourth (8%) and FC Bayern Munich (5%) round out the top five.
- FC Barcelona vs. Liverpool FC final: Fans predict an FC Barcelona vs. Liverpool FC final with 36% and 23% of bets placed putting these two clubs as top choices to reach the final. Could we see a replay of the breathtaking 2018/19 semi-finals?
Europa League predictions:
- Three clubs lead the way: With the qualifiers and play-offs wrapped up, excitement is also building for the start of the Europa League later this month. According to the latest betting data, three clubs stand out from the pack as the fans’ top picks to take home the silverware: AS Roma (22%), Nottingham Forest FC (21%) and Aston Villa FC (18%). It was just last season that the Europa League final featured two English teams, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United. Could we see another one this season with Nottingham Forest FC and Aston Villa FC? The other two teams making the top five are two time competition winners, FC Porto (6.82%), and perhaps quite surprisingly PAOK FC (6.79%) from Greece.
Conference League predictions:
- Crystal Palace FC lead the pack: Fans are putting most hope on Crystal Palace FC reaching the final with nearly a third of bets (32%). After off the field circumstances led to Crystal Palace missing out on competing in the Europa League, could they yet claim European glory? In the second place there’s a tie between AC Fiorentina (25%) and Greek club, AEK Athens (25%). After all, the Italian side has reached the competition’s final twice, while Olympiacos’ triumph in 2024 has created faith that another Greek side can win it again. Shakhtar Donetsk comes next with 4% of bets and Rayo Vallecano round out the top five, with 3.5%.
