More suitors appear for proposed Athens casino

Two more overseas companies, reportedly Las Vegas-based Miura Holdings and Toronto-based Clairvest, have expressed their interest to obtain license for the proposed casino planned at Elliniko, the old airport site at Athens.
The two entrants join some heavy weights in gambling industry such as Caesars Entertainment (US), Groupe Lucien Barriere (France), Mohegan Sun (US) and Hard Rock (US) have also expressed an interest in the casino.
There is also a possibility that Miura joining hands with Mohegan Sun if the goes on to win the casino permit.
Tender will be opened and winner will be announced in the next month.
