Three men in Poland charged with robbery in gaming rooms

The District Prosecutor’s Office in Kędzierzyn-Koźle in Poland has filed a case against three persons for committing robbery in gaming rooms. The persons identified publicly only as Sebastian D., Michał W. and Andrzej A. threatened a woman employee in a gaming station on Piastów street in Zdzieszowice by waving a knife at her and went away with the cash chest.
The incident happened on the night of 18 April 2018. The invaders also broke the security bar in one of the gaming machines. They also took away two telephones and a video recorder that operated in the gaming centre.
They repeated the crime after a few days – this time at a game salon at Reja street in Kędzierzyn-Koźle. In addition to the violence, the attackers also used an incapacitating gas against the aggrieved party.
Their loot was money in the amount of PLN 3200 (approx. 740 EUR), as well as a smartphone and a disc with a recording of monitoring from the premises where the games room was run. As before, the perpetrators wanted to make it difficult to identify them and prevent the Police from being notified quickly.
All the culprits were arrested in a month. They could get a penalty of 3–15 years of imprisonment.
