Ukraine’s Cyber Police chief vows to block Parimatch

Sergei Demedyuk, the chief of the Ukrainian Cyber Police, says they are determined to curtail the activities of all online casinos in the country, including Parimatch. He stated this in an interview with local publication LIGA.net.
He kind of admitted that Parimatch continues to work in the country, in spite of a blanket ban on online casinos in Ukraine, but the police are finding ways to completely shut down the online casino. He explained: “We will find a solution to block Parimatch some day. We have closed their call centers in Ukraine, including Kyiv. And we continue this job.”
Demedyuk conceded that it is a difficult battle because it is not possible to monitor traffic and block illegal content at the legislative level. These online casinos host servers in countries where such activities are allowed.
Parimatch.com is one of the popular casino websites in Ukraine. It is an international bookmaker company providing sports betting and online casino services. The company was founded in 1995 in Kyiv.
