Star Entertainment CRO Scott Saunders Resigns
Scott Saunders, Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of The Star Entertainment Group, has resigned, effective 31 January 2025.
Mr Saunders will continue in the role for six months until his expected departure date of January 31, 2025 (Effective Date) to continue the ongoing work in relation to The Star’s remediation programme and to facilitate an orderly transition to Mr Saunders successor once appointed.
Mr Saunders will also cease to be a director of all relevant subsidiary company boards from the Effective Date.
Acting Group Chief Executive Officer of The Star, Mr Neale O’Connell, said: “I want to thank Scott for his dedication and commitment to The Star during a difficult and transformative period and wish him well in his future endeavours.”
A search for a new Group Chief Risk Officer of The Star will commence shortly.
