KSA imposes fine on Onisac Ltd for the Second Time
KSA, the Dutch Gaming Authority, has imposed a fine of 450,000 euros on Onisac Limited. Onisac, based in Gibraltar, is the company behind the casino.com website.
The fine of 450,000 euros has various components. EUR 200,000 was imposed for offering online games of chance. The remaining 50,000 euro fine was imposed for charging unreasonable administration costs.
Onisac already received a fine from the KSA in 2013. René Jansen, chairman of the KSA: ‘This is a repeat offender. That makes the violation extra harmful and is reason to double the fine. “
The company charged players 5 per cent administration fee per month if they were inactive for 180 days, with a minimum of 15 and a maximum of $500.
