Compliance Updates
Play’n GO have been granted the ISO 27001 certification
Play’n GO have been granted the ISO 27001 certification, an international standard in information security.
Described as “a lifestyle that empowers a business to improve its overall information security posture” the ISO 27001 is awarded to companies that adopt an information security management system (ISMS) that takes into consideration people, processes and systems, and includes a formal risk management framework and process.
In an industry where the protection of data and information is of paramount importance, those meeting the ISO 27001 standard can give their clients the confidence and secure knowledge that they adopted the necessary controls to protect their data and can meet their data protection expectations for any new or existing business needs.
Having been awarded this certification Play’n GO can guarantee customers they are compliant with national and international regulations (such as GDPR), minimising the risk of costly penalties and fines and giving peace of mind that they take their security and compliance very seriously.
Security and GDPR manager, Cedric Mallia spoke about this latest certification:
“ISO 27001 is a testament to our commitment to our client’s security and wellbeing in the industry. ISO 27001 it is not a mandatory standard, but we are willing to go above and beyond to ensure that we are giving our customers more.
It shows we are continuing to build a solid security foundation based upon international standards and best practice, and taking appropriate control measures to protect confidential and privileged information.
Clients know they are in the best hands with us.”
