Romania Adds 41 iGaming Websites to Blacklist
Romania’s national gambling regulator, Oficiul National pentru Jocuri de Noroc (ONJN), has expanded its gambling blacklist by adding 41 iGaming domains.
There more than a thousand internet service providers (ISPs) in Romania. They are now legally bound to cut access to the blacklisted sites.
Anytime Casino, Casino Kings, Fruity King, and Casino Palace have found themselves in the list. But none of the other major and popular iGaming website are found in the list. Most of the blacklisted domains are obscure, mainly dot.com and dot.co.uk domains.
The ONJN registered a blacklist of banned sites in 2015 before opening the country’s regulated online gambling market in 2016.
