Playson granted Greek supplier licence
Casino games and software developer Playson has received a Manufacturer’s Suitability Licence from the Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC) to supply its content for the newly-regulated Greek market.
After a thorough and rigorous application process, the accreditation of Playson’s titles within the Greek market paves the way for the supplier to sign additional agreements with key operators in one of Europe’s fastest-growing regions.
The news sees a wide range of popular Playson hits, such as Solar Queen, Wolf Power: Hold and Win and Legend of Cleopatra Megaways™, licensed for the territory of Greece.
This accreditation extends Playson’s presence in regulated markets across Europe and beyond, helping to maintain the expansion of its operations and reach more players worldwide.
Following on from the ISO 27001 information security certification which it was recently awarded, Playson’s latest licence further emphasises the games studio’s impressive compliance credentials.
Andrei Andronic, General Counsel at Playson, said: “We are delighted to receive a licence that ensures a continuation and expansion of our hit games within the newly regulated territory of Greece, a fast-growing market at the heart of a crucial region for Playson.
“We have an appetite for regulated markets and we are delighted to add a new license to our portfolio. This latest news demonstrates our credentials for providing the best and safest games to our partners. We’re excited to begin a new chapter in Greece and build our presence in the months ahead.”
