OKTO’s Digital Payments Homologated in Community of Madrid, Revolutionising Gaming Industry Payments
OKTO revolutionises Madrid’s gaming industry payments following the homologation of its cashless solution in the Community, marking the first time that electronic payments have been approved for use directly in gaming machines.
OKTO’s cashless solution will be available through the partnership with Jackpot Systems, a fast-growing technology provider. The development and cooperation open the door for digital payments to be used for gaming machines, providing a more seamless, secure and convenient way for users to pay and play.
“We are pleased to bring our cashless payment solution to the gaming industry in Madrid. This is a significant milestone for us, and we believe it is a clear indication that electronic payments in the retail gaming industry are here to stay. We look forward to working with our operator partners to provide them with the tools they need to offer a digital-savvy, safe and frictionless payment experience for their customers,” Nacho Frade, Commercial Director & Country Manager Spain at OKTO, said.
The homologation of OKTO’s cashless solution in the Community of Madrid is a significant achievement that paves the way for more communities to approve it, enabling cashless payments. It is an important step forward in the digitalisation of the gaming industry, which is increasingly adopting new technologies to provide better customer experiences and streamline operations.
