UKGC Launches Website Hub for Operator Responsibilities with Third Parties

The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) has unveiled a new website hub aimed at assisting operators in understanding their responsibilities when engaging with non-licensed entities, including white-label partners.
Found in the Commission’s Compliance section, the new hub sets out expectations and responsibilities of operators entering business relationships with third parties.
The reminder follows cases where the Commission has taken enforcement action against operators for failures related to due diligence checks on third parties.
The new hub includes requirements in Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice (LCCP) which set out the obligations gambling businesses must adhere to when contracting with third parties in addition to specific advice on those engaging in white label partnerships.
