PokerStars announces Usain Bolt branded Zoom games and MEGASTACK Iberia

PokerStars has partnered the world’s fastest man with the world’s fastest poker game creating Usain Bolt branded Zoom games, and PokerStars MEGASTACK moves into the Iberian Peninsula.

There is something magical about watching a sporting legend retiring at the top of their game, so it was sad to see Usain Bolt finished third in his final 100m race at the World Championships before hitting the deck in the relay due to injury.

For the first time in PokerStars history, they are rolling out a celebrity branded game: Zoom Usain Bolt Edition.

PokerStars players will find the new tables in the lobby and have the chance to get involved in a new Road to Glory Challenge where each weekend from August 14 to September 24 players can compete in a series of Zoom Challenges with the chance of winning $15,000 in cash.

Manchester United fans may also get the opportunity to see Bolt up close and personal. If Bolt can recover from the injury sustained in London, he may feature in a special legends game between Man Utd and Barcelona at Old Trafford on 2 September.

Bolt, a lifelong United fan, has indicated his desire to play football professionally, now he has waved bye-bye to his athletics career, but at 30-years old, methinks you will have to make do with a legends appearance in Manchester.

PokerStars MEGASTACK Hits The Iberian Peninsula

PokerStars MEGASTACK is branching out into the Iberian Peninsula with new stops confirmed in Estoril, Madrid, and Valencia.

PokerStars MEGASTACK first launched in April with a series of events held at London’s Hippodrome Casino. It has since moved into Ireland, Belgium, and France, with an appearance in New Jersey pencilled in for October.

The new stops carry a €170 buy-in, and €40,000 guarantee, where you get to sit down with a 50,000 starting stack. The events were created to give recreational players a live tournament experience at a low price and lots of playability, before trying their luck in a PokerStars Festival or Championship event.

PokerStars MEGASTACK Estoril – Oct 4-8
PokerStars MEGASTACK Madrid – Dec 7-10
