CEEGC 2017 Budapest announces IMGL Masterclass about Regulatory Developments
The 2nd edition of the Central and Eastern European Gaming Conference is just around the corner and as related by the organizers, the event will surpass all expectations. With 25% more registration already accounted by the organizers, the event will once again be a sellout and many well-known names already appear on the delegates and speakers list.
CEEGC Budapest has become the most successful boutique C-level gaming conference and it seems that more and more operators are looking forward to catch this yearly opportunity to get the latest regulatory briefings in âEEGEvents styleâ.
With many new updates this year (networking party and the adding of a second day), the organizers are honored to announce a special IMGL Masterclass, moderated by the one and only Dr. Joerg Hofmann (Head of the Betting and Gaming Group of Melchers Law Firm in Germany).
The panel is scheduled to start at 16:15 (Budapest Local Time) on the 19th of September during Day 1 of the conference and is titled âIMGL Masterclass – The devil is in the details – regulators apply stricter rulesâ.
The panel will discuss the general regulatory updates which have a negative or positive impact on operators. Operating under a gambling license is not just a question whether someone is entitled to offer games of chance. It is more and more a question of how someone is entitled to offer games of chance. The rules are becoming increasingly stringent and more extensive. Market behaviour is being monitored. Advertising is under scrutiny. Enforcement activities are increasing. New challenges arise from AML and data protection regulation. The industry is well advised to keep itself informed about latest and future regulatory developments.
The panel will include speakers such as Dr. Robert Skalina, Jaka Repansek, Tal Itzhak Ron and Dan Iliovici.
Make sure you attend this panel and grab the vital information shared during the 2 days of educational panel and networking.

Salsa to showcase its LatAm gateway credentials at SiGMA Europe
Salsa Technology will attend SiGMA Europe, taking place from 12th to 14th November in Valletta, Malta, with the aim of establishing and strengthening partnerships with game providers expanding into the Latin American market. Representing the company at the event will be Head of Marketing & Sales, Eliane Nunes, and Operations & Support Manager, Cathiussa Canez.
Salsa Technologyâs content aggregator, Salsa Gator, has positioned itself as a strategic bridge for providers seeking to replicate their success from other regulated markets in Brazil and other LatAm countries, such as Peru. With a specially curated content portfolio tailored for local players and features designed to simplify operations for local operators, the aggregator provides access to a library of over 19,000 certified games from top studios. Each is aligned with the regulatory requirements of the region, all through a single integration.
Expanding into Latin America, however, brings challenges that go beyond simple content translation. The region, much like Brazil, stands out for its cultural diversity and nuances that demand a personalised approach.
Eliane Nunes, Salsa Technologyâs Head of Marketing & Sales, commented: âSimply reskinning games doesnât work here. Itâs essential for providers to adapt their offerings so content resonates with the local audience. Salsa offers far more than just a content distribution platform; we are a strategic partner focused on maximising operational impact in Latin America, building a solid connection between providers and operators.â
In addition to the advantages that Salsa Gator offers providers and operators, Salsaâs executives will be available to discuss other LatAm-focused solutions, such as Salsaâs PAM platform, Salsa Omni. Certified by GLI and already operational in Brazilâs regulated market, Salsa Omni provides operators with flexibility and autonomy through a robust and intuitive back office.
