Washington casino could be moved

Washington State’s City of Longview has ruled that a casino development would not affect the land.
After the government of the City of Longview granted the green light for a casino development in the Riverfront District area, chances of businesses’ proposals have increased. Earlier this week authorities ruled that a casino project near the Cowlitz River “would not cause any significant environmental impacts.”
Uber casino could be relocated under the petition of its owner Regina Bakunowicz, who decided to close current operations until the government approves the relocation. This week, the businesswoman received good news as the City of Longview could allow the company’s move of relocating the gaming venue “from Commerce Avenue into a building that once housed Charlie’s restaurant and the Elite Fitness Center.”
The relocation aims at serving “gambling casinos/card rooms in association with a restaurant/cocktail lounge” as a permitted use in the the Riverfront District, which is the area along First and Third avenues from Hudson Street to Washington Street.
