Jackson begins CEO role at Paddy Power Betfair

Peter Jackson this week was officially authorized to take up his position as the Chief Executive at Paddy Power Betfair.
As announced in the August of last year Jackson replaced Breon Corcoran. Following the stepping aside of Corcoran from the Paddy Power Betfair board on January 7, Jackson assumed the position of the Chief Executive.
Jackson joins the company having served as Chief Executive of global payments business WorldPay.
Jackson has been associated with Paddy Power Betfair since some time; prior to being an independent, non-executive director of the company since 2016 he also held a similar role with Betfair before the incorporation of Paddy Power and Betfair.
Earlier in his career, Jackson also had a spell as Chief Executive of Travelex Group from 2010 until 2016, he led the innovation function for Banco Santander in 2016 and served in various roles in the retail bank at Lloyds Banking Group and HBOS.
Speaking at the time of his appointment in August, Jackson said: “I am excited about the prospect of joining the Paddy Power Betfair executive team.”
“Paddy Power Betfair has some of the leading brands in the global gaming industry and the business has great prospects.”
