A Million dollar deal links Hoyts Cinemas with Gfinity Esports
Hoyts Cinemas, one of the worlds leading entertainment companies – with over 430 screens, and 65,000 seats across the network, have linked up over a million dollar deal with Gfinity Esports Australia, the first city-based professional eSports league.
They promulgated the multi-million dollar partnership which will ensure chain of esports arenas popping up in Hoyts cinema locations around Australia. This New partnership will start off with Moore Park arena in Sydney and will feature state of the art gaming equipment apace with a full broadcast and production suite.
The event will officially start off with Gfinity’s own inaugural Elite Series esports event, planned to be staged in front of a live audience at the Moore Park site consecutively for seven weekends.
Anticipate the opening of the Gfinity Esports arena in the Hoyts Entertainment Quarter in the second quarter of 2018. More details of further locations will be announced in the future.
