IGT’s Hyper Hits begins operation in Macau

The Italy-based gaming and lottery supplier International Game Technology Plc (IGT) has started operations in Macau. In a recent announcement, the company said that its Hyper Hits link slot product made its Macau debut. The produce is now available at casino resort MGM Cotai, operated by MGM China Holdings Ltd.
“We are delighted to see the Hyper Hits link debut with our customers at MGM Cotai,” said Michael Cheers, IGT sales director for Asia, in a statement contained in the release.
He added: “The game delivers an engaging experience that was designed specifically to meet regional player preferences. Hyper Hits is one of three links that IGT recently released for Asia, and we are encouraged by our customers’ acceptance of, and positive feedback about, these products.”
Hyper Hits was introduced to MGM Cotai with two games: “Lotus Princess” and “The Golden Bow.”
The Hyper Hits link (pictured in supplier’s illustration) was one of the highlights of IGT’s stand at Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia 2018, an industry trade show that took place in Macau last month. Hyper Hits is a linked progressive with a ball-based mechanism that awards jackpots and bonus prizes. IGT says such mechanism “heightens player anticipation and excitement.”
