Table games gains soar in Pennsylvania
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has released and revenue figures for May. The biggest grosser are tables games which notched up revenue of US$74.9 million, a less than 1 per cent increase over the same period last year.
This is about US$500k higher than during the same period in 2017. The PGCB also reported that the overall gaming revenue rose by 0.4 per cent when compared to May 2017.
The state regulator said that total tax revenue from table games during last month operations amounted to US$12 million with an average of 1271 tables in statewide daily operation. Combined gross revenue from slot machines at the 12 state casinos in May of this year was US$203.9 million, 0.4 per cent higher than the May 2017 gross revenue figure of US$203.2 million.
