Betsson CFO quits

Kaaren Hilsen, the chief financial officer (CFO) of the Malta-based online gambling group Betsson, has resigned from the post. She will be joining Swedish telecoms firm Telenor as its CEO. She had worked in Telenor as CFO before joining Betsson.
Pontus Lindwall, CEO at Betsson, said in a statement: “I would like to thank Kaaren for her contribution in getting Betsson back on track. I respect that she has received an offer she could not refuse and wish her all the best for the future. Betsson is a stronger company than it was a year ago and I am sure that we will soon recruit a new CFO who wants to be part of taking Betsson to the next level.”
