Golden Entertainment and William Hill extend their partnership
The British bookmaker William Hill has expanded its partnership with the Nevada-based casino operator Golden Entertainment. As per the deal, William Hill will manage all race and sports operations in Nevada, Maryland and Montana for Golden Entertainment.
At present, William Hill is managing the race and sportsbook at Golden Entertainment’s Pahrump Nugget Hotel & Gambling Hall in Nevada. It also operates deposit kiosks at 80 taverns and third-party distributed gaming locations throughout the state.
After the new deal, William Hill will oversee the entire wagering operations at the Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower, Arizona Charlie’s Decatur and Arizona Charlie’s Boulder in Las Vegas, as well as the Aquarius Casino Resort in Laughlin, Nevada.
The companies will also look for sports betting opportunities in Montana, where Golden Entertainment has 300 distributed gaming locations.
“We are excited to expand our current relationship with William Hill, which has a proven sports wagering platform not only in Nevada but around the world,” Golden Entertainment chief operating officer Steve Arcana said. “We look forward to growing our business in Nevada and other jurisdictions through this partnership.”
William Hill US chief executive Joe Asher said that his company has had an “excellent” relationship with Golden Entertainment since entering the US market.
“We look forward to continuing it for many years to come in Nevada and elsewhere as opportunities arise.”
William Hill is expected to take charge of the additional Nevada and race and sportsbooks by December this year, subject to regulatory approval.
