Gambling revenues continue to soar in Maryland

Casino revenues continued its upward trend in the Maryland gambling market for the fourth straight month in September. According to the new data from Maryland Lottery and Gaming officials, the six casinos in the state grossed total revenue of $143.8 million last month. That is a 6.9 per cent year-over-year increase.
MGM’s National Harbor was the state’s top-earning casino last month, with $54.4 million in revenue, a 10.3 per cent year-over-year increase for the venue, which has pulled in the highest gaming revenue since just after it opened in December 2016.
Anne Arundel County’s Live Casino & Hotel notched $50.3 million in revenue in September, a 7.1 per cent year-over-year increase.
