Tokyo police arrest illegal online gamblers

Police in Tokyo have arrested two persons for conducting online illegal gambling operations in two separate operations.
In the first incident, the police raided a internet café and forced the shutting down of an illegal online casino named RobRoy.
Police arrested three persons from the casino. The police officials said that online casino used to generate a monthly income in excess of Yen 10 million ($90,000).
In the second operation, the police raided a more sophisticated betting ring and arrested 10 persons in connection with the illegal online activity. The police said the activity involved hitherto unknown method using the latest electronic gambling tables.
