South Dakota on standby for legal sports betting

After the PASPA got repealed, the sports betting industry has already proven its power to boost revenues in several states. South Dakota is expecting that they also can do the same if sports betting get legalise in the state. Deadwood operators expect legislators to introduce a resolution to legalise the segment as they believe it will improve their revenues.
“The best thing for Deadwood is going to be the additional visitation, the additional hotel rooms, food and beverage sales. That’s where the real economic impact is going to happen with sport wagering,” says executive director Mike Rodman, Deadwood Gaming Association.
