Genting Singapore’s Sentosa casino renews license for 3 years
Genting Singapore’s Resorts World Sentosa has renewed its casino license for three more years. This is significant because Genting is bidding for Japan’s ongoing IR license-issuing process.
Genting Singapore, a subsidiary of the Malaysia-based gaming company Genting Group, has revealed that it obtained license extension approval from Casino Regulatory Authority of Singapore for its Resorts World Sentosa integrated resort with effect from February 6.
Resorts World Sentosa opened doors on the island of Sentosa, located off Singapore’s southern coast, in February 2010. The property is one of two integrated resorts with dedicated casino gambling space that were authorised by the government of the city-state back in the 2000s, the other one being Marina Bay Sands.
