Maryland Casinos post a revenue of $137 Million in January
The six casinos in Maryland raked up an overall revenue of $137 million in January. This represents a 7.2 per cent increase in revenue year-one-year.
In spite of the rise in overall revenue, it must be stressed that only three casinos experienced a rise in revenue individually.
MGM National Harbor accounted for 41 per cent of the state’s total revenue, posting $56.2 million from its patrons, representing a 12 per cent rise year on year.
Live! Casino and Hotel posted $46.3 million, which was up 6.3 per cent from last January, and the Horseshoe Baltimore generated $20.2 million, up just 0.06 per cent year-over-year.
The other three locations in Maryland saw declines in their year-over-year revenue.
Hollywood Casino Perryville was slipped 4.3 per cent, Ocean Downs dropped 6.1 per cent and Rocky Gap fell 9.2 per cent.
