Madison Square Garden to host betting kiosks
New York legislator Gary Pretlow has introduced a bill that proposes to expand the state’s gambling opportunities. One of the eye-catching points of the bill is its suggestion to establish betting kiosks in prime locations of New York such as Madison Square Garden and Yankee Stadium.
The bill also proposes to legalise digital gambling and permit racetracks and other commercial facilities to offer sports betting through kiosks in association with casinos.
Sports gambling was first legalised in the state in 2013.
However, the New York Gaming Commission drafted new regulations this January, after PASPA was eliminated, that would authorise sports wagers at the casinos.
