Magellan Robotech renews ISO/IEC 27001 certification for the security standards of its gaming products
Magellan Robotech, the B2B brand of Stanleybet Group, has renewed the ISO/IEC 27001 certification that defines the requirements to offer the highest standards of data and information protection.
The ISO/IEC 27001 standard defines the global requirements for an Information Security Management System (ISMS) and is designed to ensure the selection of adequate and proportionate security controls. The standard also requires periodic checks, thus guaranteeing constant and extreme protection of the certified companies’ customers’ information.
“We are proud to announce that Magellan Robotech passed the first renewal audit. Over the past year, since we first acquired the certification, we further developed our own information security systems and we kept watching related trends in the global market. We continue to put a great effort for maintaining our internal standards high and to consistently deliver them to our customers,” Pierluigi Chiusolo, Director of Magellan Robotech’s IT Department said.
“The certification renewal confirms the incredible attention and effort that the Company puts into security. We are more and more focused on products and services as an extremely quality driven Company into the B2B global market. Magellan will exhibit in one of the most important events, Betting on Sports (SBC London) with the aim of presenting all the new released products as our SSBT betting software, the MIDAS adaptable self-service touch screen betting system and the Virtual Football League Trident, currently one of the most competitive products of the Magellan/Stanleybet group portfolio,” Christian Maglia, CCO of Magellan Robotech said.
