Mohegan Sun Wins “Best Casino Hotel” Title in USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards

Mohegan Sun has received the “Best Casino Hotel” title in USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards. Foxwoods Resorts Casino got the second-place. Encore Boston Harbor resort casino that opened in June, came fifth in the rankings.

This is the second consecutive year in which Mohegan Sun winning the “Best Casino Hotel” category. In the “Best Casino Outside Las Vegas” category, Foxwoods finished second and Mohegan Sun fifth. The category’s top choice was the Barona Resort and Casino in Lakeside, San Diego.

Mohegan Sun’s Momentum rewards program ranked fifth in the “Best Players Club” category. Las Vegas-based Caesars Entertainment was the top choice.

“All three recognitions are truly a testament to the hard work and dedication of our amazing team here in southeastern Connecticut,” Ray Pineault, Mohegan Sun’s president and general manager said.
