Betfair join the Racing Post app

Racing Post and Betfair have launched a new partnership that sees the online sports betting giant join Racing Post’s free iOS mobile app and mobile website. Now customers can place bets on horseracing and greyhounds with Betfair Sportsbook without leaving the Racing Post app.
The Racing Post app delivers daily racecards, fast results, expert tips, the latest breaking news, and live race streaming. Betfair becomes the latest bookmaker to integrate into the app after bet365 recently joined in August. The new partnership means new and existing Betfair Sportsbook customers can log in to their accounts and place bets directly on the Racing Post app.
Betfair customers can also place bets via the Racing Post desktop site and the introduction of Betfair to the Racing Post suite of products shows the strength of the partnership between Racing Post and Flutter Entertainment, Betfair’s parent group, with customers able to place a bet with Paddy Power across all Racing Post products.
Speaking about the launch, Racing Post commercial director, Sam Houlding, commented: “We have a long and successful partnership with Flutter Entertainment in print, online and retail and are delighted that we continue to grow the ways in which we work together and add value to each other’s businesses. Our customers have been able to bet directly with Paddy Power for many years and we are excited for Betfair to join the ranks for our ever-growing mobile audience.
“We are constantly trying to improve the betting experience for our customers and are very pleased to be able to do this by offering them more choice in bookmakers through the release of Betfair Sportsbook.”
Rich Hayward, Commercial Director of Betfair, also discussed his excitement on the partnership extension: “We know the value of Racing Post and how it has been the cornerstone of the greyhound and horseracing betting industry for years. Partnering with Racing Post’s mobile and desktop products broadens the options for both Betfair and Racing Post customers.
“We know that our customers continue to use mobile more and more and the Racing Post app provides a superb experience for those wishing to bet on horseracing and greyhounds.”
