Northern Lights Gaming Secures Velo Partners Investment
Northern Lights Gaming has secured a strategic investment from London-based gaming and gambling venture firm Velo Partners through its games accelerator RNG Foundry. The firm also signs a distribution deal allowing a portion of its content to be distributed exclusively via the Microgaming Quickfire platform.
Through Velo Partners investment, Northern Lights Gaming secures a strong content roadmap for the years to come, allowing the studio to continue its thinking-outside-the-box gaming development focusing on blending innovative mechanics with optimal player experience.
“We’re delighted to have Velo Partners and RNG Foundry join forces with us. Apart from the capital allowing us to continue to build our business, they also bring vast gaming expertise and access to a fantastic industry network. Of course, the partnership with the vast Microgaming distribution channels will also have a significant positive effect on our growth,” Andrew Goodale, CEO of Northern Lights Gaming, said.
“Northern Lights Gaming exemplify the type of studio that we like to work with, encapsulating an intriguing combination of UK and Scandinavian pedigree with quality, unique game design and established relationships with Tier 1 operators. We are very enthusiastic about adding Northern Lights Gaming to the RNG Foundry portfolio and bringing its exclusive content to Microgaming,” Evan Hoff, founder of Velo Partners, said.
“I have had a long association with the founders of Northern Lights Gaming and have always been impressed with their technical proficiency coupled with a deep understanding of compelling player mechanics, and am delighted to be working with them again,” Mark McGinley, Programme Director of RNG Foundry, said.
