Camelot Closes its Head Office After Employee Diagnosed with Covid-19
The National Lottery operator of the UK, Camelot, has closed down its head office following an employee was diagnosed with Covid-19. The company added that the closure would not have any impact on its routine operations.
An employee, who returned from Thailand recently, was diagnosed with Covid-19 and is now under medical treatment.
“We hope to re-open the office as soon as possible. However, many colleagues have the ability to work from home, and The National Lottery will operate as normal and draws will happen as planned,” a spokesperson for the operator said.
“Our priority is the health of our employees and we are keeping them fully informed of developments, as well as providing them with advice in relation to coronavirus,” the spokesperson added.
