STS Improves Financial Position in Poland

STS Gaming Group, the premier betting company in Poland, has improved its financial position in the first half of 2020, according to the data on tax revenues published by Poland’s Ministry of Finance. This is impressive because the legalized sports betting industry overall has paid PLN 343.4 million of gambling and lottery tax in in the first half, suggesting a 10% dip year on year.
Betting companies contributed PLN 138.6 million to the Treasury, a decrease of 26.6%.
STS meanwhile has reported a revenue increase of 4% year on year. It has improved its position, as it controls almost 50% share of the Polish sports betting sector.
