Diamond Vortex ‘Shaping’ Up To Be A Success
“The success of Honey Rush showed us that people enjoy playing the hexagonal grid format, so we gave them more of what they want…”
The latest release from Play’n GO has hit the market today, a space-themed gridslot named Diamond Vortex.
It’s a dynamic title from the slot supplier, firstly due to the fact it’s played on a hexagonal grid. First seen from Play’n GO in their popular 2019 release Honey Rush. But that’s not the only exciting thing about it.
The game is a cascading gridslot title, a format pioneered by Play’n GO and used in some of their biggest titles. It is divided into three concentric circles which will spin and reposition symbols each time players achieve a cascade.
The rings are also home to zones and spots, which can trigger a whole host of features including symbol transformations and free spins.
The game’s biggest attraction is the fact it has a Core Wild Vortex placed directly in the middle of the grid, meaning there’s always at least one Wild active on every spin. It can also “swallow” other Wilds which will increase its multiplier value each time it does so.
Diamond Vortex is another innovative title released as part of the supplier’s commitment to publishing the equivalent of a game a week during the calendar year and looks to be another triumph in its portfolio.
CPO Martin Zettergren had this to say:
“The success of Honey Rush showed us that people enjoy playing the hexagonal grid format, so we gave them more of what they want.
But of course, we wanted to bring more to the table this time, and the result is a unique, exciting game giving something new to the market.”
Diamond Vortex is available to play online from today.
