RTSmunity and Sazkabet extend collaboration on Sazka eLEAGUE, the biggest esports league in the Czech Republic and Slovakia

RTSmunity, the leading provider of esports odds and trading has announced an extension of partnership with Sazkabet, a progressive sportsbook operator from the Czech Republic. The announcement follows a successful collaboration in the first half of the year, on what became the biggest esports league in Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Announced in March 2020, Sazka eLEAGUE stormed the esport scene with a prize pool of $100 000, an unparalleled sum in the history of the local esports scene. With the goal of
building up the local esports ecosystem, Sazkabet came up with an overall plan of an esports league with spring and autumn splits in both Counter Strike and Dota 2. It was only
natural to team up with RTSmunity, esports betting and analytics veterans. Together with Sazkabet, RTSmunity aims to provide the most comprehensive betting offer to their
customers in the Czech Republic.
The first split was dominated by two teams, Sinners in CS:GO, and Team Sampi in Dota 2.
Both teams rank among the youngest esports teams, with Sinners being established in 2020 and Sampi in 2018. But that didn’t stop them from winning the first split with a strong performance in both the regular split and play-off. While Sinners used the momentum to grab some wins in regional ESEA tournaments as well, the talent of two players from Sampi – Supreme and Saberlight – didn’t go unnoticed, as they ended up joining the famous esports team Ninjas in Pyjamas. And these are the kind of stories that both Sazkabet and RTSmunity hope to see more and more in the future. Pavol Krasnovský, CEO of RTSmunity says: “When we saw the concept and plans for Sazka eLEAGUE, we were pleasantly surprised, because that is exactly what we were missing on
our domestic market. We immediately knew that we wanted to be a part of this, and I am glad we can contribute to the growth of esports in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Watching the rapid expansion of esports all over the world, this was just a matter of time, and we are very confident that Sazkabet will be successful with their own league.â€
Jan Horyna, the director of iGaming division at Sazkabet added: “Sazka eLEAGUE is not a one shot project for us, this is something that we want to build up to a stage where young
esports players can really see a future. We did similar projects in traditional sports, and now we want to provide a platform to every passionate esports fan out there. As for the cooperation with RTSmunity, we can say that we are lucky to have the best esports odds provider sitting right “next to us†here in Prague. That made the start of our cooperation really smooth, and we plan to extend the cooperation further in future. Two Czech companies working on the best Czech esports league, that sounds great to me.â€
