Eyas Gaming Targets Regulated German Market

Eyas Gaming, a new online brand founded by a team of industry veterans and backed by the Gauselmann Group, is targeting the newly controlled German online gambling market.
Joe Saumarez-Smith (Chairman), Michael Brady (CEO) and Adam Joseph (COO) will work together to establish the offering of online gaming, with an initial launch pencilled in July 2021 to open the fully controlled German market.
“The regulation of the German market is a very exciting time and a huge opportunity for us. The proposed rules for the German market will present some big challenges for all operators but we think that we will be able to build a market-leading product with Merkur that is specific to the German market and the new regulatory regime,” Saumarez-Smith said.
Backed by German gaming giant Gauselmann, Eyas Gaming will use the Bede Gaming network, which the company acquired in March 2020, for all of its operations. Merkur online slots games from Gauselmann’s Blueprint and Edict divisions will be provided by the igaming entity.
“I am thrilled about this collaboration. The operational experience of our partners in conjunction with our technological platform as well as our renowned Merkur games will enable us to successfully establish online offerings in Germany and other regulated markets,” Paul Gauselmann, founder and CEO of the Gauselmann Group, said.
