Japan to Postpone IR Application Process by One Year

The Japanese government is likely to postpone the application period for integrated resort bids by one year.
Kyodo News, the leading news agency in Japan, says national authorities have decided to postpone the process until at least next autumn due to the delays caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Prefectures that have already expressed their intention to bid are Yokohama, Osaka, Wakayama and Nagasaki.
