Yggdrasil to offer successful game mechanics to YG Masters partners

Yggdrasil Gaming, the leading global publisher of online gambling content, has extended its YG Masters program to offer its studio partners access to all its popular proprietary mechanics including Gigabloxâ˘, MultiMAX⢠and Splitzâ˘.
The new proposition will enable studios to rapidly develop new titles using Yggdrasilâs hugely successful mechanics as a launch pad, lifting player engagement to new heights.
Two existing YG Masters partners, DreamTech Gaming and Bang Bang Games have already signed up to Yggdrasilâs new offering and will develop games featuring the mechanics next year.
The mechanics, all introduced in 2020, have proven extremely successful in several titles in Yggdrasilâs games portfolio. Gigabloxâ˘, featuring in Lucky Neko and Hades, is all about gigantic symbols appearing on the reels leading to massive wins when stacked.
Splitzâ˘, incorporated into Temple Stacks, Neon Rush and Syncronite, splits mystery symbols on the reels for more ways, extra scatters, longer lines or bigger clusters, while MultiMAX⢠made its debut in Multifly! and sees multipliers accumulate on the reels for cascading wins.
The new proposition adds additional value to the YG Masters program which already enables partners to create and distribute gaming content using Yggdrasilâs revolutionary GATI technology. GATI is a preconfigured, regulation-ready development toolkit. It enables studios and game developers to apply standardised technology to develop and distribute games around the world.
Stuart McCarthy, Head of Partner Programs at Yggdrasil, said: âThe competition in the slots market is immense. Using recognised and successful mechanical frameworks at the heart of a game is key to attracting players and turbo charging the game performance so this was a natural next step for us to take.
âOur proprietary mechanics have been a revelation this year, so much so that we have had to recalibrate what successful releases look like. Driven by these triumphs we are thrilled to now share this opportunity exclusively with our YG Masters partners. We are excited to see the first titles in this new wave of games launch in 2021, helping our studio partners grow and expand their offerings and delivering on our shared vision.â
Frank McPolin, Managing Director at Bang Bang Games, said: âBang Bang Games could not be more excited about the opportunity to leverage the Yggdrasil mechanical frameworks. We are huge fans of the games Yggdrasil has already released with these frameworks, and big admirers of how they are going about the business of building them into recognisable brands. Our game design goblins are currently locked away in the Bang Bang dungeons and will be tirelessly flogged until they emerge with something amazing. We look forward to bringing our own twist to these incredible mechanics.â
Halvor Dahl, Business Manager at DreamTech Gaming, said: “We’re thrilled to further extend our partnership with Yggdrasil and to utilise their highly successful mechanics in upcoming releases. With access to Yggdrasil Gaming’s exciting mechanical framework, DreamTech Gaming will be able to further build on our already highly successful partnership and offer new and exciting game concepts combined with our state-of-the-art graphics and design.â
