Contenders Present IR Plans to Nagasaki Prefectural Government

Two of the final three contenders have presented their integrated resort plans to the Nagasaki Prefectural Government.
Niki Chau Fwu Group and Casinos Austria International shared their visions with eight committee members and responded to questioning. Oshidori International Holdings has withdrawn from the race.
Nagasaki is due to select its final candidate this month. The prefecture will make a submission to the national government by 2022 in its bid for permission to develop an integrated resort.
The successful IR partner will have to pay JPY158m (US$1.5m) for the request for the proposal process and JPY10m (US$92,000) for a background check.
