Betway become Associate Sponsor of the South African national rugby team

Today, leading global online betting and gaming brand Betway, who are owned by Super Group, have announced a partnership with the current rugby world champions, South Africa.
The three-year agreement will see the Betway have a presence in stadium with branding at all Springbok home matches including at the world-famous Ellis Park, as well as appearing on the back of the players shorts for the full term.
The deal will be in place for this weekend’s Rugby Championship fixture against Argentina and the team have readied themselves for the tournament with a historic 2-1 success over the British and Irish Lions.
This further demonstrates the brand’s commitment to supporting the biggest teams and events in world sport.
Anthony Werkman, Betway CEO said: “It’s a great honour to be a sponsor of the South African National Rugby team.
“The Springboks are painted in history and with rugby being a popular sport around the globe, we’re proud to take a step into international rugby sponsorship.
“It’s very exciting that we’ve partnered with the current world champions, which highlight’s Betway’s appetite to support the biggest names in sport.
“The team have been in great form of late and we look forward to seeing our logo around the stadium and on the players kit, starting against Argentina this weekend.”
