Enter the icy realms of the Ice Dragon
Play’n GO have released their ice-fantasy inspired game, The Legend of the Ice Dragon.
The Legend of the Ice Dragon has been passed down through generations of folklore. But the Ice Dragon is no myth. Locals have never laid eyes upon the vast treasure that the dragon protects but bear witness to the icy destruction that it leaves in its wake. Few have tried to tame the beast and retrieve its riches; none have been successful.
Legend of the Ice Dragon is reminiscent of Play’n GO’s Wild Frames. Any Wilds that land on the grid leave behind a frame. If the player lands a Wild within a frame this will increase the Multiplier. The player’s aim is to fill the charge meter, once full this will reveal all the Wilds that the player has collected along the way. Leading to an epic finale as Wilds explode onto the screen.
Other features follow the destroy, transform, and add Wilds usually seen in this style of game. The game also boasts three non-win features: Hailstorm, Avalanche, and Blizzard.
Play’n GO are known for their rich narratives and The Legend of the Ice Dragon is no different. Throughout the game players are immersed in the icy fantasy land of The Legend of the Ice Dragon.
Taking inspiration from Japanese mythology, Play’n GO’s designers have created beautiful Japanese-inspired visuals with a snowy mountain backdrop.
Head of Games Charlotte Miliziano said: “Wild Frames was a favourite of ours and players alike, and the idea was to release a complementary title that went one step further. So, we created Legend of the Ice Dragon that boasts a new narrative, stunning visuals and epic audio not to mention additional features such as the overcharge feature to up the excitement for players around the world.”
