eSports
What does it take to be a success at esports?

Esports are increasing in popularity. There was once a time when if you told your teacher that you wanted to make money playing video games, you would be laughed at. Not anymore. Esports have made it possible for players to earn big money. The skill required puts these players on a par with athletes in any other type of sport.
Alongside the increase in popularity, you can not have failed to see how interest in esports betting has also soared. This is because esports are big money now and these are the things you’ll need to do if you want to be the next big thing.
Get focused
If you are serious about succeeding in esports that you need to get your head in the right place. You need to set yourself a goal and then you need to focus on how you are going to achieve this. Great sportsmen and women all go through the same process. They may set a goal that involves taking gold at the Olympics and they will then reverse engineer this so they can see each step that they need to take. Treat esports like any other sport and focus, focus, focus!
Review your setup
Being a success in any sport means that there needs to be a level of investment in equipment. To run you need great trainers. For football, you need great boots. With esports, it is all about your setup. Take a look at upgrading your mouse and your keyboard and see what a difference that makes to your gameplay. Even the basics like your chair can have a huge impact on how you play so even changes here will make a substantial difference.
Review your gameplay
Any professional athlete will reflect on their performances. Those who are truly committed will spend hour after hour watching replays of how they have performed and then tear themselves to shreds! Yes, they will highlight positives, but they will spend more time looking at the areas that held them back and where they could have done better. Esports need the same approach. Review your playing by checking replays and learn from your past performances.
Get competitive
You may think that you are a seriously talented player and better than any of the professionals that you have seen. That may well be true, but until you start competing it doesn’t really mean much. Find a team that you can get involved with and start putting yourself out there. People need to see how good that you really are and playing in a true setting like this will only see you improve.
Enjoy it
If you want to succeed in esports, there is no getting away from the fact that it is hard work. You need dedication and an almost obsession with what you are looking to achieve. That being said, you need to enjoy what you are doing or it is too easy to become disillusioned. Get out there, have fun, and create a name for yourself.
