Xace announce multi-currency accounts expanding its payment network to SWIFT
Gaming payment provider Xace are delighted to announce the addition of multi-currency IBANs to their existing product line. As well as GBP and EUR, Xace can now accept six additional currencies: USD, CHF, CZK, HUF, NOK, SEK, allowing for frictionless cross-border transactions for the iGaming industry.
In addition, the group have expanded their payment network to include SWIFT, and US-centric ABA, to strengthen their ability to process transactions for its clients. By integrating SWIFT, Xace will allow customers to easily manage global multi-currency payments in addition to the cross-border capabilities in the SEPA area and speed of the UK’s Faster Payments. Businesses can now transact across multiple currencies using a single IBAN account.
David Hodkinson, CEO of Xace, said “The addition of these currencies and IBANs enables us to expand on our footprint in Europe and further afield, giving our gaming clients the freedom to move their money easily cross-border.
What’s more, being able to process payments via SWIFT gives our customers the ability to connect to the most important international payment network. This will give options to a vast swathe of our gaming customer base who have been cast-adrift by regular banking institutions.“
Having launched over a year ago, Xace has enjoyed rapid growth, particularly in the European gaming market, and has secured a foothold in the industry as traditional banking institutions have been steadily retreating.
Recent product enhancements come shortly after announcing two senior hires to oversee its banking operations and ambitious expansion plans. Chief Banking Officer Andria Evripidou, and renowned Fintech and iGaming investor Julian Buhagiar joined as Non-Executive Director.
