Blacknut’s new web browser experience unleashes the power of Cloud Gaming with 500+ PC & Console games just a click away.

Today, Blacknut is set to disrupt the cloud gaming industry yet again with the release of its new Web App experience. Blacknut reinforces its vision of empowering the casual gamer by removing the need to install software and brings its extensive catalog of 500+ premium gaming titles to a browser-native experience for Safari and Chrome.
This new feature exemplifies the pioneering mindset that molded Blacknut into a cloud gaming leader and closer to its founding vision to bring premium games on every connected device, everywhere.
Last year, Blacknut was already among the first to bring unrestricted on demand gaming to iOS through a Progressive Web Application (PWA), making iPhone and iPad fully compatible with the service’s already running on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android mobile & TV, or Fire TV apps. The new Web App takes cross-device play a step further.
Blacknut’s 70+ publishers can now reach an even wider audience, and casual players can get their hands on the best games that the industry has to offer in a subscription service directly through a browser.
Blacknut’s service is, by design, compatible across as many internet-connected devices as possible, to reach the target customer: the general public whose household holds on average 2.5 connected devices. With this new feature, Blacknut’s extensive game catalog now deploys on any screen which supports Chrome or Safari.
“We’re thrilled to once-more be pioneering the future of cloud gaming with our Web App, a feature much requested by our community! With Blacknut’s massive game catalog now available through the world’s most ubiquitous browsers, we can estimate our cloud gaming service to reach 10 billion tablets, PCs, smartphones and more across the planet by 2023(1).” –– Olivier Avaro CEO, Blacknut
“Our technology already allows any Windows games to be integrated in Blacknut with no additional efforts from developers. This new feature will create an even easier opportunity for our Publishers to extend the reach of their games to new audiences, new devices, and new territories worldwide at no cost.” said Nabil Laredj, VP Business and Licensing at Blacknut.
Since going live in 2018, Blacknut has risen as the leading independent actor in cloud gaming solutions for the general public, with a unique B2B2C distribution model. Over the course of these fours years Blacknut’s Cloud Gaming service experienced exponential growth with the help of major partnerships including Telecom Italia, AIS in Thailand, Hutchison Drei in Austria, POST Telecom in Luxembourg, Telecall in Brazil, or the latest launch for Celcom in Malaysia, and M1 in Singapore. For this vision and accomplishments Blacknut was recently awarded a Red Herring Top 100 Winner, Europe award in December 2021.
