Phenix Launches Real-Time iGaming Streaming in Europe with Amusnet Interactive

Partnership transforms iGaming market abroad
Phenix, the leading provider of real-time streaming technology, today announces its launch into the European iGaming market through a partnership with leading online gaming company Amusnet Interactive.
Online casino games are dominating the United Kingdom’s iGaming sector; as of November 2021, it was generating £4.0 billion in GGY for operators. Partnering with Amusnet Interactive, Phenix technology is now integrated into a select number of tables, equipping the company with real-time streaming to bring the action between the dealer at the table and what the player sees on the screen down to sub-second latency. This is done without sacrificing quality and can scale to any number of users – something no other platform can achieve outside of Phenix – in turn allowing games to happen faster, with increased players and revenue growth.
“The United Kingdom has a robust iGaming industry and continues to look for innovative ways to transform and reach new audiences,” said Roy Reichbach, CEO of Phenix. “By partnering with Phenix, Amusnet Interactive can now deliver scalable, synchronous real-time streams to drive user engagement and increase their bottom line.”
“Partnering with Phenix strengthens our commitment to optimizing the player experience. With the help of its technology, we can ensure that even while virtual, our games are reliable and no one is ever left wondering what is happening when they make their bets,” said Todor Zahariev, Chief Product Officer of Amusnet Interactive. “As the iGaming industry looks towards the future, technology like Phenix have the potential to truly change the player experience for the better.”
The Amusnet Interactive partnership is the latest growth indicator for Phenix in the United Kingdom. Previously, Phenix set records for scaling WebRTC streams, leveraging Oracle and Google cloud, during the 2021 Cheltenham Festival. Together with RMG, the company achieved concurrent streams approaching 500,000 on individual races and achieving over 60 percent YoY growth across the Festival. The biggest week in British Jumps racing saw multiple streaming records broken each day with a 100,000 concurrent users or more for every one of the 28 races over four days.
