Swintt, the award-winning developer of players’ favourite online casino games, has strengthened its technical team with the appointment of software specialist Domenico Vacchiano, who joins as Chief Architect.
Domenico is a technical architect with more than 20 years’ experience. He has spent the last decade in senior technical roles at some of the biggest names in the business, including as Head of Technology and Director of Software Development at Gaming Innovation Group.
He was also Chief Technology Officer at WeAreCasino, Head of Software Development at Catena Media and Director of Engineering at Casumo.
He will bring this unrivalled experience to Swintt where, as Chief Architect, he will be responsible for overhauling and upgrading its iGaming platform. By using cutting-edge technology, the upgrades will bring disruptive innovation to the market.
Other primary objectives include promoting innovation and digital transformation within the business as well as introducing a number of disruptive technologies that will be used to deliver never-seen-before real-time gamification and promotional tools, driven by AI.
Domenico will also build and grow a new cross-functional team and will oversee the certification of Swintt’s platform in additional regulated markets as it continues to increase the reach of its games and partner with operators in more jurisdictions than ever before.
David Flood, Chief Technology Officer at Swintt, said: “Domenico is one of the most talented and experienced software architects and specialists in the industry, which I had the pleasure to work with in the past, so to be able to bring in someone of this calibre is a major coup for Swintt as we look to take our technical infrastructure and platform to the next level. “
“We have been planning the upgrade of our next-generation platform and under Domenico’s guidance, we can finally do this and introduce even more cutting-edge technologies, features and so much more for our operator partners to leverage.”
“I look forward to working with Dom over the coming months as we continue to push towards our goal of becoming a tier-one online casino content provider to operators in markets around the globe.”
Domenico Vacchiano, Chief Architect at Swintt, added: “I am thrilled to join such an innovative company with a truly agile and cutting-edge technology culture and one that continues to produce incredible games distributed across top-tier brands.
“I am delighted to join the team in our beautiful office in Sliema and to start contributing with my extensive technology and iGaming experience.”
