Scientific Games Signs New Contract with Latvian National Lottery
Scientific Games, a leading international provider of retail and digital games, technology, analytics and services to lotteries, has inked a new agreement with Latvijas Loto, the state lottery in Latvia. As per the agreement, the company will power responsible growth and funding to benefit the Latvian state budget.
Edgars Lediņš, Chairman of the Board for Latvijas Loto, said: “After thorough evaluation, Latvijas Loto chose to modernize our systems technology with Scientific Games so that we may continue to deliver outstanding player experiences and meet our growth potential. We look forward to the efficiencies this technology advancement will bring to our entire operation, and our retailers will be delighted with the new terminals and support they will receive.”
Scientific Games is already offering its products and services to lotteries in over 50 countries globally. Its new technology will be launched in Latvia next year. It is expected to help Latvijas Loto to achieve its responsible growth objectives and effects a 50% increase in retailer points-of-sale across in the country.
